Central Valley High School delivers a rigorous curriculum structured around a modified block schedule. Students attend four 74-minute academic blocks each semester, supplemented by a mid-day option designed for courses that run continuously throughout the entire school year.

Athletics & Student Life
Consistent with its goal to support the whole student, CVHS sponsors 10 Boys' and 11 Girls' varsity sports competing in the WPIAL (District 7 of the PIAA).
