Graduation Requirements
Graduation Requirements
Students of the Central Valley School District in grades 9-12 will be required to earn a minimum of 28 credits in the following areas, along with completing a Graduation Project and achieving at the the proficiency level or above on State required tests or District local alternative assessments.
- 4 Credits - English and Language Arts
- 5 Credits - Math
- 4 Credits - Science
- 4 Credits - Social Studies
- 3 Credits - Physical Education and Health
- 1 Credit - Public Speaking
- 1 Credit - Software Applications (Class of 2027 & 2028) OR Personal Finance (Starting with Class of 2029 - formerly Financial Literacy)
- 6 Credits - Electives
Total of 28.0 Credits needed to graduate.
** All credits must be earned in the district. Dual enrollment credit will not count towards QPA or graduation.
