Student Driving
CVHS Student Driving Regulations
Students shall be permitted to drive an automobile to school. Driving to school is considered a privilege and not a student’s right. All students planning to drive to school must have a parking permit. The cost of a student parking permit is $20.00 per year and student parking permits are available on a first-come first-serve basis. Students must complete an Application and Registration for Student Driving (available in the main office).
A violation of school rules may result in a suspension of a student’s parking permit: i.e. speeding, reckless driving, excessive tardiness, truancies, etc.
Any student that is a repeat violator of leaving the building without permission or accumulates more than 10 tardies or unexcused absences will immediately lose their driving privileges for the remainder of the school year.
